Impact Wrestling Academy was born out of a deep passion for seeing the next generation of student-athletes develop skill sets that go far beyond the wrestling mat. IWA believes in cultivating a growth-minded culture, where kids can learn high-level wrestling techniques and rub shoulders with other like-minded mentors and teammates to achieve their goals on the wrestling mat and in life.

About Jon Fausey
Coach Jon Fausey brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Impact Wrestling Academy. As a former PIAA State Champion and a 4-time NCAA Division I qualifier for the University of Virginia, his wrestling accolades are impressive. Jon was an ACC Champion and became UVA's first 4-time First-Team Academic All-American, finishing his collegiate career with 99 wins. In recognition of his contributions to the sport, Jon was inducted into the Pennsylvania District IV Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2023.
Off the mat, Jon’s professional journey includes earning his degree from the University of Virginia and graduating from the Yale School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant program. Currently working as an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant, he also has experience as a Division I coach at Sacred Heart University and five years of club coaching at Tugman Wrestling Club. Jon is dedicated to fostering an environment where young athletes can develop both as wrestlers and individuals, encouraging them to take ownership of their growth. He resides in Berryville, VA with his wife, Camrynn, and their three children.
